  1. What is this offer all about?
    This is a postpaid plan targeted to heavy data users for them to stay entertained and stay connected to their loved ones via social apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, WeChat) anytime anywhere.
  2. How long is this offer last?
    This is a permanent offer effective from 3 August 2020.
  3. Who is eligible to sign up for this offer?
    All new personal, corporate and MNP port in numbers starting from 3 August 2020 (excluding M2M).
  4. What happens if I do not fully utilise my High Speed Data allocation?
    Your balance quota for the month will be forfeited.
  5. Are the unlimited voice calls among redONE Postpaid numbers valid for calls made when I am roaming?
    The unlimited voice calls among redONE Postpaid numbers are valid for domestic calls in Malaysia only
  6. After I have signed up for this plan, am I allowed to upgrade my monthly data bundle?
    You can buy the one-off Data Top Up by dialing *123# to purchase additional data.
  7. Can I register for any supplementary lines with Data28?
    Yes, you can register up to 6 supplementary lines.

redVIDEO

  1. What is redVIDEO?
    redVIDEO is a Value-Added Service (VAS) that offers 10GB 4G LTE data to stream videos on popular channels.
  2. Do I need to activate/ subscribe redVIDEO?
    No, the redVIDEO will be activated automatically once your Data28 Postpaid plan is successfully activated or successfully ported-in.
  3. I don’t want the redVIDEO service. Can I terminate it?
    No, you cannot terminate the redVIDEO service. It is bundled with the Data28 Postpaid plan for you to enjoy video streaming on popular video channels in Malaysia.
  4. I have utilised the 10GB redVIDEO monthly recurring quota. Can I subscribe redVIDEO again?
    No, only 1 active subscription is allowed in a month. However, you can purchase the 1-time Add on.  For each successful purchase, RM10 will be charged to your bill.
  5. How do the customers check on their 10GB redVIDEO data balance?
    Customers can check the usage via by dialing *123# or 1App.
  6. When can I utilise the 10GB redVIDEO data quota?

redSOCIAL

  1. What is redSOCIAL?
    redSOCIAL is a Value-Added Service (VAS) that offers 10GB 4G LTE data to stream on four (4) popular social channels. The partners that you can stream using redSOCIAL are:-

  7. Will redSOCIAL consume my plan’s bundled data?
    No. redSOCIAL provides you additional 10GB data to stream on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp & WeChat. Standard data consumption may apply for any in-app purchase, third party apps and links out of redSOCIAL’s partners.
  • This plan is valid for new, MNP port in sign-up and existing customers.
  • This plan can be registered as a Master account or a supplementary account. M2M customers are not eligible for this plan.
  • Each Master line subscriber is allowed to register up to max 6 supplementary lines per Master.
  • RM28 Advance Payment is required. The Advance Payment is collected via cash or credit card. The Advance Payment will be used to deducted against your first month’s bill and you will only be required to pay any balance due under your first month’s bill. Registration by non-Malaysian citizen customers shall be charged with a deposit equivalent of their respective monthly credit limit.
  • From 3 August 2020 onwards, the new Data28 plan is available for new registrations and MNP port-in.
  • All prices displayed exclude service tax which will be imposed on you in your monthly bill.
  • Monthly access fee is only for the bundled high speed data, bundled 10GB redVIDEO, bundled 10GB redSOCIAL and unlimited voice calls among redONE Postpaid users.
  • The redSOCIAL and redVIDEO VAS are bundled with the plan and not optional
  • The monthly access fee of the Data28 plan is charged on a full month basis.
  • The bundle high speed data, bundled 10GB redVIDEO, bundled 10GB redSOCIAL and unlimited voice calls among redONE Postpaid users are applicable for domestic usage only within Malaysia network. Roaming and IDD are chargeable based on Pay-Per-Use (PPU) rate.
  • Upon 100% utilisation of the bundled high speed data, the subsequent usage will be drawn from the basic Internet data throttling at 64kbps speed. Customer may opt to purchase Data Top Up to continue surfing the Internet at high speed.
  • Basic Internet is the standard 64kbps speed.
  • In the event of termination or port out, there will not be any pro-rated billing on your last bill; you will be charged the full month’s commitment fee.
  • Unlimited voice calls among redONE Postpaid users are subject to our Fair Use Policy, which may be implemented if you exceed 100 hours a month. The complete Fair Use Policy can be found on www.redONE.com.my
  • The unlimited calls among redONE Postpaid users shall NOT be 
    – Re-sold, rented or utilised in any other way except as an individual making calls to other network users in           Malaysia.
    – Used for rerouting calls (connection with a device/software/application)
    – Used to set up switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours
    – Used for multiple simultaneous calling and conference calling
    – Used for Call centre and telemarketing
    – Used for continuous calling for extended period of time, auto-dialing and machine-to-machine communication
  • This plan is not eligible for 30 days cooling off period.
  • Existing customers can request to change plan to the new DATA28 plan from 1 November 2019 onwards. Existing change plan rules apply.
  • Customers without an active redVIDEO and/ or redSOCIAL who requested to change plan to the new DATA28 plan, redVIDEO and/ or redSOCIAL will be automatically activated.
  • Customers with an active redCALL who requested to change plan to the new DATA28 plan, the redCALL subscription will be automatically terminated.

    redVIDEO

  • The redVIDEO monthly recurring Value-Added Service (VAS) offers 10GB high speed video streaming every day until the end of the month or until the redVIDEO data quota is fully utilised. Once the customers have fully utilised the 10GB quota, they can purchase the 1-time Add-on redVIDEO VAS.
  • The redVIDEO VAS is bundled with the Data28 Postpaid plan and is not optional.
  • The 10GB 4G LTE data can only be used for streaming redVIDEO channels. Other data usage will be deducted from the available bundled high speed data.
  • The redVIDEO will expire at the end of the calendar month.
  • redVIDEO can only be utilised domestically i.e. within Malaysia network only. Video streaming when overseas are subjected to data roaming charges. The customer shall be charged based on the data rates imposed by the respective redONE roaming operators for data usage while roaming with redONE’s overseas roaming partners.
  • The redVIDEO VAS will be auto renewed on the 1st of every month.
  • In any event where the customer wants to change his/her subscribed plan from Data28 to another plan, the subscription to redVIDEO will be automatically terminated.

    redSOCIAL

  • The redSOCIAL monthly recurring Value-Added Service (VAS) offers 10GB high speed data to use  on 4 social chat channels (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, WeChat) every day until the end of the month or until the redSOCIAL data quota is fully utilised. Once the customers have fully utilised the 10GB quota, they can purchase the 1-time Add-on redSOCIAL VAS.
  • The redSOCIAL VAS is bundled with the Data28 Postpaid plan and is not optional.
  • The 10GB 4G LTE data can only be used for streaming 4 social channels (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, WeChat). Other data usage will be deducted from the available bundled high speed data.
  • The redSOCIAL will expire at the end of the calendar month.
  • redSOCIAL can only be utilised domestically i.e. within Malaysia network only. Social chat usage when overseas are subjected to data roaming charges. The customer shall be charged based on the data rates imposed by the respective redONE roaming operators for data usage while roaming with redONE’s overseas roaming partners.
  • The redSOCIAL VAS will be auto renewed on the 1st of every month.
  • In any event where the customer wants to change his/her subscribed plan from Data28 to another plan, the subscription to redSOCIAL will be automatically terminated.

redPLAN8

  1. What is the RedPlan8 (RP8) plan about?
    RP8 is a permanent plan where the monthly commitment can be utilised for voice calls, SMS, MMS and Pay-Per-Use(PPU) data usage BUT NOT for data bundle add-on.
  2. Who is eligible to sign up for this plan?
    All new personal, corporate and MNP port-in numbers excluding M2M.
  3. Where can I sign up for a RP8 plan?
    You can sign up at any redONE Branch Office & redONE Partners.
  4. Will I be tied to a contract if I sign up for a RP8 plan?
    No.
  5. Will my 1st bill be pro-rated or will I be charged a full one (1) month subscription?
    Your 1st month’s bill be pro-rated based on the number of days with effect from the registration date if you registered the line with less than a full month’s billing cycle, which falls on the 1st of every month.
  6. Can I share the RM8 credit with my other lines?
    Yes, the RM8 monthly commitment can be combined into a single pool and shared with all your supplementary lines.
  7. Is the unlimited voice calls among redONE Postpaid numbers valid for calls made when I am roaming?
    The unlimited voice calls among redONE Postpaid numbers is valid for domestic calls in Malaysia only.
  8. After I take up the plan, am I allowed to subscribe the monthly data bundle?
    Yes. You can subscribe to any of the exclusive recurring data bundles for this plan during line registration or after the line registration is completed (between the 1st – 10th of every month).
  9. Is there any Registration Fee or Deposit required for this plan?
    Yes, you will need to pay RM10 Registration Fee to sign up for this plan. However, the default deposit (RM25) is waived. If you require a higher credit limit, deposit is required if your tenure with redONE is less than 6 months. If you are a foreigner, you have to pay a deposit equivalent of their respective monthly credit limit.
  10. Is there any advance payment required for the plan?
    Yes, you will need to pay 1 months’ commitment fee. The advance payment paid will be used to offset your following month’s bill from redONE.
  11. I am blacklisted by other telco. I would like to sign up to RP8 with a new redONE number. How much Advance Payment do I need to pay?
    You need to pay RM25 Advance Payment.
  • The RP8 monthly commitment fee comes with RM8 credit which can be used to make domestic voice calls, SMS, MMS and Pay-Per-Use (PPU) data usage, but not for data bundle add-on.
  • RM25 Advance Payment is required. The Advance Payment paid will be used to offset your following month’s bill from redONE.
  • Credit limit for RP8 resets on the beginning of every month. Kindly ensure prompt payment to avoid high cumulative bills.
  • The monthly commitment fee of the RP8 plan is pro-rated in the first bill for customers who registered less than one (1) full month’s billing cycle, which falls on the 1st of every month. E.g. customer who signed up RP8 plan on the 15th will have the first bill consists of pro-rated charge for the previous month (RM4) and a full-month charge for the next month (RM8).
  • Unlimited voice calls among redONE Postpaid users is subject to our Fair Use Policy, which may be implemented if you exceed 100 hours a month. The complete Fair Use Policy can be found on here.
  • RP8 customers are allowed to add any data bundles but once activated, the data quota is valid only until the end of current calendar month. E.g. 3GB data bundle purchased on 15 January will expire at midnight of 31 January.
  • The monthly commitment of RP8 can be combined into a single pool and shared among all lines registered under one Master account. redONE combines usage from all lines and bills directly to the Master account. If the Master account is ever suspended, all lines will also be affected.
